From Michoacán to the Mountains of Utah
Heladita began with a simple promise: share the authentic taste of Mexican paletas with our new home. Our founder, Don Sergio, learned the craft as a child in Tocumbo, Michoacán, where his grandparents were paleteros. At nine years old, he started making paletas and aguas frescas, mastering recipes by memory and palate rather than written formulas.
Arriving in Utah, Don Sergio discovered the true scale of his gift — moving from small daily batches to producing hundreds of paletas and aguas while preserving the soul of every recipe. Today, Heladita honors those roots with flavors that celebrate both our Mexican heritage and our Utah community.
